August Newsletter

Welcome to our August Newsletter

Did you see us in The Gisborne Herald?

This month has been a month of much needed rest for all involved in this project. In saying that, we have still made some progress behind the scenes.

At the beginning of the month, Raymond, Agala and Nana Joshua (our Ghana based volunteer team) worked together to demolish 3 classrooms in the old school.

Now that the three new classrooms have a roof, windows and doors, it is ready for the GFS children to return to and begin their lessons when they arrive back from school holidays.

The classrooms that were demolished were built in 2002 as a temporary structure. The wood salvaged from the demolition is being used to patch up the old school classrooms while we wait to finish the rest of the school.

We are also updating our website to provide more reliable and up to date information. We hope to use this to invite volunteers to Good Foundation School and make it easier for anyone to connect to the work we do at Choose Love Ghana.

Check us out - we welcome any feedback! https://www.chooseloveghana.org/
