Good Foundation School - Tetrem Ghana
Recent update:
We have completed our volunteer house accommodation and we are excited to host many more volunteers in the future. The house is located at Good Foundation school. The first group of volunteers. "Team Roof", have returned from their trip to Good Foundation School. The 2026 volunteers have completed the roof on three classrooms at GFS. And, three of the old classrooms have been demolished. We are so excited to finally get a roof on the rest of the school! Follow our journey on social media @chooseloveghana
What next?
We will be fundraising to gather the funds needed to complete the rest of the new school. This time we will pay local builders to finish the work and recruit local volunteers to help. We are also excited to invite more volunteers from all over the world to experience life in Ghana and enjoy our brand new volunteer accomodation.

Our Story
Before we became a registered charity, we were still choosing love and ran several smaller projects. Each project was created to empower the youth of Ghana and provide them with the neccesecities for a brighter future.
New School Furniture and Whiteboards
2017
Prior to 2017, Good Foundation School were using uncomfortable and broken school furniture and old and cracked blackboards. A group of friends in London fundraised enough money to replace the blackboards with whiteboards and to build enough new desks and seats for two classrooms.
A New School Library
2014 - Current
In 2014 Good Foundation School had a total of 40 library books. This library has continued to grow and there are now 100s of books on the shelves at GFS. Thanks to people from all over the world!
